Hi Rebecca! Great photos, and congrats on getting past 100 days of your 365! I found your blog through the link-up at Click It Up a Notch. My husband and I are in the process of creating a new feature at The Albums to help our members begin and finish a Project 365.
I was wondering…since you have made it so far in your project, what's one piece of advice you would tell someone about to embark on one?
Thank you so much! I started this 365 armed with only a basic Nikon D3100 and a passion to document my family’s everyday life. Some days were a great success and others not so much. As a full time working mama I reached a creative road block many times during the week. There have been a number of things along the way that have encouraged me to continue with this project. However, I think what made the biggest difference was when I finally liberated myself by saying I simply need 365 pictures. Period. So, it is ok to use five from the weekend and two from the week. Some weeks I get more than seven and some weeks less. I try not to let life get in the way because I make the rules. I don’t let one off week ruin my progress. I really feel that in just 100 days I truly improved the quality of my photos. I am so excited to see what another 200 days will bring. I must also mention that I have met a few other ladies from Click It Up, and we have really tried to encourage each other through our journey. I hope this helps.
